Perfect for what I needed
I wanted to use this in conjunction with an enclosing tv cabinet so needed a mount for my 50" plasma tv that was sturdy and would colapse close to the wall.

Beware the lag bolts
Overall, this is a great product and very sturdy. However, beware of the four lag bolts supplied with the product (these are the bolts that secure the mount to the wall).

I bought this mount after a couple of hours of Internet research. It came down to a choice between this one (Sanus VMDD26) and one from monoprice.com, which costs significantly less.

Heavy Duty - Easy to Install
After much scrutiny, I chose this model mount for my Samsung A650 52" LCD TV. By Sanus's ratings, I could have selected the next model down (the VMAA26B), but I checked the mounts out in person and saw that this mount has two arms that hold this to the wall bracket, vs.
