Useful but limited
first of all - you *do* get tunnel vision with this lens unless you are in the upper zoom range, and the canon manual acknowledges it. More >>

Good, but a couple of things would make it a lot better.
Maybe it can't be done, or maybe there isn't enough money in it, because if it could be done or if there were enough money in it, surely the Canon lens development engineers would have already done it to complement and enhance their very exceptional peerless point-and-shoot digital camera, the G9. Great lense but very big for a little Camera G9
I love it but i am going to return it not because it is not good .. it does very good Job but this with the adapter make the Camera very heavy and unable to handle it my hands shaking when i hold the Camera but it does really an aweasom Job the only thing bothered me is the adapter big adapter with big lense increase the weight for the Camera ..
