Product Description
The Mag Fiber series of Monopods comprise a revolutionary design by combining the strength of magnesium and carbon fiber. The monopod is crafted from carbon fiber using an exclusive, patented process. Under intense pressure, extra long carbon fibers are combined with resin to produce a stronger tube that absorbs more vibration - and with a wall thickness of only 1.2mm! Surprisingly solid-built, yet extremely light
I have this monopod for a year now. I bought it with the head and the spiked foot. The only negative thing I see about this package is that the head is extremely heavy for this monopod.

Excellent monopod
Very solid and well made. The flip lock mechanism for the legs is easy to use and quick. I also bought the Bogen swivel/tilt head, which allows me to easily adjust the angle of the camera independent of the angle of the monopod.

Light, portable, and strong
This is an awesome monopod. In the case of monopods, you get what you pay for. I owned a Velbon aluminum monopod (about $40 on amazon) and it was ok, but the legs started to slide from the weight and the rubber foot fell off.

Tonka Toy Tough
This monopod lives up to the promotions. It's light, tough and versatile. Unfortunately, the Manfrotto 488RC4 midi ball swivel head and quick release mounting plate I put on it increased it's weight substantially.
