OVERKILL!
Well I am a brand kinda guy. This unit is very nice but it's big and somewhat awkward for me. It does have many functions but I don't use them.

Performs as described
I bought mine sometime last year, before august. I put the AAA batteries in. The unit has been displaying information nonstop since I took it out of the package and I have not changed the batteries yet.
