It Is what it is.
Don't know what I can say about an external drive other than it is exactly as advertised. The unit has a number of ports and LaCie gives you several cords so it's very versatile.

Great for Time Machine!
I am a graphic designer and photographer and need alot of space since I keep my pics in the RAW format. I have the drive connect to an iMac 24" Intel and wirelessly to a Macbook.

Great HD
I have a total of five LaCie external HD's including this one. I am not a Windows person so can not comment on how LaCie's are with PC's but they work great with MAC's.
