Difficult to install
I bought two of these to install in a RAID configuration. When I loaded Windows XP, the OS didn't recognize the array and the software packaged with the drives wouldn't run because it said there wasn't a seagate or maxtor drive installed in my system.

Bad drive - wouldn't format completely- returned it and bought a SamSung
Frustrated. Returned the drive after repeatedly unable to format drive in a Windows Vista PC. Formatting hung at 73% complete two times in a row.
