It does not come with any installation paperwork, which might make it a bit of a challenge for a complete neophyte to install.

The obvious--plug in and start backing up. This hard drive is solidly well-built and weighs in at a substantial 3.5 pounds.

I bought 5 of these for the office, two have failed. Since I am not about to ship them a drive with sensitive data I had to fix them myself.

A COMPLETE waste of money!
The single worst purchase I've ever made on Amazon. Cheap, loud, clunky and extremely fragile. It comes with a flimsy stand and - warning - if you even knock into it slightly while it's playing it will break.
