bad production quality control
the product arrived in two days as it should be and this was good. however, when i opened the box, to my big disappointment, i can not plug in the power cord and mini USB because these two ports were not even in the right position. More >>

Nice package, but unacceptably bad performance
Let me say first that I've been in IT for 25 years. Western Digital is the only brand of hard drive I've ever bought, and have never had one fail or have any problem of any kind; I'll continue to buy their bare hard drives until they give me a reason to change. More >>

Great for Easy Backup
If you are the type of person who doesn't want to mess with a lot of technically geeky stuff, but you do want to make a regular backup of your files, or if you are someone with parents or other relatives who isn't that computer literate but who wants a backup system, then this drive is very useful.
