Easy backup
The drive started backing up as soon as I connected it to my computer. I have not tried restoring yet though.

For those of you who cannot find the software---after connecting the HP harddrive to your computer, OPEN MY COMPUTER (on your computer) and click on your CD drive (it may be Drive F).
