VERY QUIET AND UNDERATED
This drive has far exceeded my expectations. Having a 64MB cache offsets the 7200 RPM's. So technically this drive has a faster access time.

Best Multimedia HDD 2010

Works with Smartstor DS4600 DAS. Fast and quiet.
Works with Smartstor DS4600 4-Bay DAS for Mac & Windows. I purchased four of these 1.5 TB Caviar Green drives for another enclosure but it was limiting their performance horribly.

Western Digital Rocks Again!
I have purchased many hard drives in the last 15 years, and have had a few failures...but NEVER Western Digital. I've had Seagate and Maxtor's die, but not one WD.
