This product is a good solution for backing up your data if you have just one desktop PC or a laptop. If you just have one laptop, a network accessed storage(NAS) device is an overkill and more expensive. More >>

I bought an older usb version and newer firewire version this past fall.
The firewire drive gets way too hot and crashed almost immediately after purchase
and the older usb version inexplicably crashed a few months later. More >>
