The AVerTVHD Duet will give your existing HTPC a “Power Boost” to higher levels of HD digital entertainment. It’s designed to receive High Definition Digital TV Over-the-Air (ATSC) or Unencrypted Digital Cable (ClearQAM*) signals directly to your PC! The AVerTVHD Duet is a dual digital tuner, with a single input, that adopt the brand-new PCI Express interface, which offers a stable and higher bandwidth tranmission environment than the traditional PCI bus. One of the great features about a dual tuner is that the user can watch one program, while recording another, or record two programs simultaneously!

Cheap tuner for BTV
I bought this tuner to use with BeyondTV. It installed flawlessly after loading the drivers from the CD. BTV picked it up without fiddling.

Check your signal.
This is given four out of five stars because doesn't work with my cable provider. I was only able to get local stations through my cable provider.

This card does NOT work with Standby Mode!!!!
This card is junk. I've worked with computers for 15+ years and had my own HTPC for more than 5. This Avermedia card will "disappear" randomly from your device manager after resuming from standby.

Works like a Dream
