I've had this card for several months. "Hear crackling gunfire and earth-shattering explosions" is certainly true, but I'm not playing any games.

Great Card. Diffcult to configure with Vista 64.
The card works great. It has great software bundled with it or downloadable from Creative. My problem was that Vista 64 kept installing a generic driver and then I couldn't get it to recognize the SB driver.

Terrible Input Audio - Bad for Windows 7
The card and software installs easy enough and the output sound is good. The analog input is a terrible design.
