Hauppauge TV Tuner, Use Windows Media Center NOT the WinTV software provided
I bought this TV tuner so that I could watch TV on my laptop when I am away from home.
I plugged in the tuner into the USB port and Windows XP automatically found the correct drivers.

EyeTV Hybrid for a third of the price!
If you own a Mac do not hesitate to buy this product. It works great with the excellent Elgato EyeTV software (I think version 3.2 and up).

Adequate
On the plus side, the device works reasonable well. Set up is fairly easy-install the software (be sure to download the latest version from the web site and make sure that any security software is set to allow the install)and then plug in the device.

It works, but only thanks to Windows 7 MC
I bought this unit just so I could watch TV while working at home on my computer (talk about ADD). At first I thought the unit was dead cause it was recognized once, then dead for a couple of days.
