Only supports HDMI output
This model only supports HDMI output. I was planning on using it in my family room where the TV is above the fireplace and I have component cables running from the cabinet to the TV hookup.

Perfect HT Blu-Ray/DVD Player
For my new dedicated home theater, I purchased the Denon AVR-4308CI, which is awesome. At the same time I purchased the Sony BDP-S550 to save a few bucks.

Worth the extra money
Very good product, keep one thing in mind. The audio only comes through the HDMI connection so if your reciever only has optical audio inputs (or Thing is this is the only way to have the "lossless" audio we have been reading about.
