Does what it says, mostly
I got this to take notes at a month long scholarly conference, and to take notes on my reading before hand.
Positives:
--It records my handwriting and doodles just fine.

Love everything about it but the pen...
I've been using the 692 for a year and I really like it. I take notes at meetings and when I get back to my desk I open the notes in the software that came with the unit and then print to PDF using the free CutePDF app, saving the PDF file to my notes folder, then I toss the paper.
