good, but far from great
I've been using these earphones for over a year now, and though they have good points they also have a lot of annoyances.

Ultimate Sound Quality Terribly Uncomfortable
I've owned these earbuds since they came to market. First off I have to say I can't imagine getting any better sound quality....

Great Customer Service from Shure
I bought the E5C earphones during summer 2005. Left ear stopped playing abruptly in early October 2007, no external, visual damage.
