I bought these in September 2009 after much research. It was Bose or JVC. Bose was three times the cost and, after reading the reviews, didn't seem worth three times the cost.

Happy with this 100$ purchase.
This is a good quality headphone with great noise reduction, good carrying case, and is very comfortable to wear. Some reviews said the cord was short, but it works great at my desk.
