The microphone is really `hot' which is something you can fix in post.
The mic output on the receiver went out about 6 months ago and I now have to go through the phone out to connect it to the camcorder.

Wow... VERY impressive
I'm very impressed with this system. On my initial test I was able to get about 60 feet from the receiver while wearing the transmitter and had crystal clear sound -- and that was two rooms away and not a direct line of sight to the antenna.

Does not work with fluid head tripods
The unit works fine but when I set it up on my fluid head tripod it creates MAJOR static every time I move the tripod head (and only when I move the tripod head).

Cheap system produces unwanted noise
I am not happy with this product. It's 'inexpensive,' (but there goes 100 dollars...) but it creates a lot of background noise when put into use.
