Like Panasonic
I had a Panasonic for about 15 years and it still works but not as good of suction as I need. I trusted Panasonic and am happy with the product.

Nice for price, quiet too, awesome couch / car / stair tool !
**update 11/23/09 still like this unit but please be sure your included bag is fully installed (seated over suction area.) New con: the hose on back falls off holder if youre leaning it back even a little to vacuum but I put a rubber band on it and its fine.

Initial impressions
I was shopping for a vacuum lately and see this on sale at Fry for $39 !!(refurbished? didn't say but I know Fry is kind of sneaky)
I thought it was used or floor model but store clark told me they have 4 in stock and I can pick 1 that I like.

What can I say, the Panasonic MCUG471 is a fantastic vacuum cleaner. I just used this particular model for the first time today and my carpets look brand new.

A Great Vacuum
This vacuum has proven to be a great investment. I had back surgery and this vacuum is not too heavy for me. I like the fact that the tools are on the vacuum and that there is a retractable cord.
