Was patient and had high hopes, but truly disappointed
I purchased this weather station for my husband for Christmas of 2008. My father (a weather station buff) did most of the research and thought this would be a great starter station for my husband.

Not Worth It
My wife purchased this for my Christmas gift to upgrade my old unit. After 3 weeks, it boils down to this: Too expensive for a basic unit and too cheaply made for an advanced unit.

Surprise! SURPISE! Surprise!
Was in the market for a basic wireless WX station and after reading the many reviews for both WMR100 (1st gen) and WMR100N (2nd gen) here and elsewhere, I pulled the trigger.

Problems with the main sensor
The sensor doesnt work at first because you have to remove the little rubber/silicone plug for the anemometer.
