Gigabyte EP45-UD3R motherboard
I bought this motherboard after a fair amount of research and I am very pleased with it. It runs flawlessly out of the box, overclocks my Q6600 2.4 Ghz to over 3.4 GHz with minimal heat on the board or the chip, and is very compatible with Windows XP SP3. More >>

It only has one IDE port, so if you have a bunch of old IDE HDDs then you will need an IDE controller card. More >>

Just FYI to purchasers, Amazon is still selling the old revision 1.0. Apparently Amazon does not move stock very fast because Gigabyte released the 1.1 revision over 4 months ago. More >>
