Works as advertised but very, very short ink life
I bought this printer to consolidate multiple fax/printers and for the wireless networking. Overall it works mostly as advertised and has a compact footprint but a few critical flaws mar it and I will most likely never buy another Brother printer again. More >>

Bad print cartridge system

Great printer for a great price
I've had this printer for over 6 months now and I've been really happy with it. Never had any problems setting up the wireless connection or getting it to print on a laptop (with Vista, no less!). More >>

Can't scan from scanner buttons
Print quality is fair. Copy function OK. Comes with Paperport 11SE. Informed by Brother customer service that the Byzantine manual scan procedure is normal, including an error message. More >>

Drinks Ink!!
I have been using this printer for almost a year. I have been very frustrated with the ink usage. I print mostly in black and white "fast" mode, which by the way is very poor compared to other manufacturers "fast" mode. More >>
