It doesn't work when any of the ink cartridges are out....
It works well enough, but if ANY of the ink cartridges are out, the printer wont work. I've got 2 spare black cartridges and can't print a page in B&W.

Terrible piece of garbage
After many years of faithful use from a Lexmark that cost me practically nothing, I decided to "upgrade" to an EPSON Workforce 500 all-in-one so I could combine my scanning and printing capability in the same equipment.

Turns into a Brick Once a single color is gone
Epson Printers are horrible! For one really important reason. You think you're getting an all-in-one setup here, but really you only get to use the scanning and faxing part of this as long as you keep it filled with ink.
