Now you don't have to drill holes in walls and climb through the attic or cellar to install network cables -- just use the wires that already run through the building. With Powerline Network Adapters, you can connect computers or any other wired Ethernet device using the HomePlug 1.0 with Turbo network standard.

linksys powerline
The product works and was easy to install but I have had issues with it going bad within a year. I love the flexiblity when it is working but when it goes out it's a pain to deal with Linksys.

Hit or Miss -- for me it was a Miss!
This is a hit or miss item. It could work well if your electrical wiring is conducive to tcp/ip communications.
My house is about 11 years old with modern wiring.

Wi-Fi Through power outlets with one caveat
NOTE: This only works if the power outlets are on the same circuit breaker line.
Some of the reviews had concern me about this product, but after understanding the proper use of this product I decided to buy one.

Cheap and easy network connection
My SlingLink network connection failed after several years of operation, and I wanted a cheaper solution to replace it. This Linksys product filled the bill nicely.
