Perhaps a good product that can't improve a bad one...
If you get frustrated easily, DO NOT BUY THE SLING MEDIA PRODUCTS, as they require a LOT of support.

Pretty simple!
Not only was this a simple plug and play (hooked up legacy Slingbox Classic & Direct TV DVR), it also worked with my Netgear X102 plug and allowed another connection at another room.
