Works as decribed
I have pretty clean power in my area but it's nice to have peace of mind. Actually this is just another surge suppressor with great features and looks hella cool with my other video equipment.

Great solution for those who have unstable voltage
Ever since the transformer in my backyard was replaced five years ago, voltage in my house has been unstable. It hovers at around 120 volts and spikes to about 122.

for those who doubt
here is an easy way to test to see if the filter actually works.
take a noise detector, plug it in to your 19.99 walmart surge protector
then do the same on the monster power unit.
