Our office UPS went out after 8 years of loyal service and so I started researching a replacement. What attracted me to this particular unit were its capacity, price for the capacity, warranty, and other reviews.

Do not install the included software!
I just ordered this UPS, so it is to early to comment on its abilities as a backup power unit.
The point of this review is to warn potential customers not to install the included power management software, called "UPSMON".

Ultra 2000 Battery failure
This product came with dead batteries. The batteries were to dead to even switch on the backup, thus making the batteries unusable.
