Snow Leopard / Windows 7 Users stay away!
I have three computers in the house and this printer refused to work on any of them. I tried it on my MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard and it refused to work out of the box.

Not a good network printer
We replaced an aging Laserjet 1022 with this printer and keep running into problems. First of all, we run Macs with OS 10.5, two of which use this printer daily (shared).

The HP LJ P1006 is an excellent entry level simplex laser printer. It is very compact. The input bin holds enough paper for average use.
