The CC Radio-2 is our newest model of CC Radios. It is designed for long range receptiona and emergencies. The AM reception has been boosted with our built in Twin-Coil FerriteAM Antenna. The FM reception is excellent. The weather band on the CC Radio-2will keep you informed of any government issued alerts. The 2- Meter Ham band can be a life saver in emergencies like Katrina. Unbelievable Radio
Bought this for my wife. She always listens to AM radio, and the reception was always bad. The CCrane radio solved that.

very overpriced and not what I expected
Well it is a quality radio but I would compare it to quality radios costing $100 less. The am reception is no better than a 30 dollar radio which I was using before.

Sturdy Radio - Good AM/FM

Great Reception
When I turned it on I was suprise by the reception the radio had on both the AM and FM bands. It was receiving stations that my $500.00 home stereo receiver could not get.
