Great sound - decent product - some major disapointment in operations
This is an over all very good product. I bought it for my mom as a gift and we are all satisfied. There are however two major problems.

The radio is excellent, as well as the memory card reader and the CD player. The sound is in any case tremendously clear.

Huge disappointment
I had high expectations for this radio. None were met. Despite no jack for hooking up external antennae, it would not pull in even the local 50,00 watt AM station unless I turned the unit on its side.

Very Disappointed
No problem with reception or sound quality, those were excellent as other reviewer's have stated. The remote - as noted by others - is required to do anything at all, and if anything the flimsy feel is worse than others have stated.
