Product Description
The IRISPen Express 6 is the most intuitive electronic highlighter. Simply slide the pen over text and numbers from letters, newspapers, magazines, faxes, etc. and they are instantly retyped right at your cursor in your favorite application. The IRISPen recognizes 3.15 inches (8 cm) per second and retypes 1,000 characters per second. The IRISPen scans and recognizes 128 languages and features the Smart wizard, which assists you with blurry text, numbers or small images.

Disappointed
My Irispen Express 6 was a wonderful tool that worked great for a short while. My first one lasted one week before it quit.

This pen works fine, but you have to practice a bit. It has to be plugged in to your computer via a provided USB data line.

Very useful for a grad student, but of course, not perfect
I think that this is a great product overall. It has really helped me with reading assignments and taking notes. I do have a few problems with the pen.

I have to say, I had my doubts when I first got this pen. I was actually thinking about returning it because I didn't think I would ever have any uses for it.

works fairly well
This product is not perfect by any means but it does scan single lines of text fairly well with some practice. I called Customer Service and I was on hold for 30 min.
