Beautiful piece of garbage.
I wanted to replace an old Brother All In One machine and I did plenty of research about it. I wanted to buy a nice cheap scanner to replace it buy my wife insisted I spent a little more and got something nice.

Low Budget Scanner
Only one complaint about this scanner. The document feeder will not feed the 40 pages advertised. You have to manually feed about 5 sheets at a time and remove the docs from the exit tray or it will jam.

Excellent Scanning Solution for Business/Workgroup or Home Use
As a previous owner of a Neat Receipts scanner, I had no doubts in my mind that the GT-1500 would perform for what I needed.

Fast
I opened it, inserted the CD into my Mac Quicksilver G4 Dual 1GHz, spent the next 6 minutes installing unbelievable amounts of software (been a while since I owned an Epson, I guess I forgot how much there is, though I believe my HP stuff is bloated too) and removing unbelievable amounts of green immobilizing tape.
