The BX5a refines our highly acclaimed BX5 near-field reference monitors, renowned for packing a lot of punch for their size. Our new 5 low-frequency driver cones are crafted from Kevlar, an extremely resilient material typically found in much more expensive monitors. Curved cone design coupled with high-temperature voice coils and damped rubber surrounds deliver incredible fidelity and durability. great speakers
great sound with lots of power BUT you need to use the Line out of a soundcard.
i have a cheap MSI 945gmf-3 ,otherboard with the onboard realtek audio soundacrd, and the sound is great. More >>

Buyer Beware
I purchased these monitors through Amazon.com in November of 2009 and was impressed with the value and the sound quality, until the right monitor crapped out two months later (January 2010). More >>

You cannot go wrong
Sound quality and detail does not change even at the lowest of volumes. Lowest lows and highest highs come through clear and completely uncolored. More >>

bargain by any standard
