Love this thing!
Been using it for a year and I love this unit. Sure its not a pretty color unit but it gives me all the information I need and the maps are free and Sonocaddie will map a course for you pretty quick.

Sonocaddie XV2
This is without a question the worst golf GPS in the market. You can tell it is very cheaply made, I imagine slightest water or accidental drop can damage this unit very easily.

Sonocaddie- Where's the course data?
The product works fine, the problem is the courses I play are not available in their data base. Of the courses I regularly play, none of the 5 courses in northwest Iowa or the 4 courses I play in the southern Rio Grande Valley are available.

I returned the Sonocaddie after one day
Prior to replacing my old model SkyCaddie, I did a great deal of research on newer GPS units. On paper, the Sonocaddie XV2 came out on top, based on the type of information I was looking for from a golf GPS and the price.

Accurate, easy to use, good value.
I've used the Sonocaddie XV2 for two seasons now both here (New Jersey) and in Myrtle Beach. I had the first generation Skycaddie and returned it after a month because it was unreliable (frequently did not pick up satelites).
