TriSquare has revolutionized 2-way radio communication with eXtreme Radio ServiceTM (eXRSTM). eXtreme Radio Service (eXRS) two-way radios use proprietary Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) in the ISM band (900 MHz frequencies). This FHSS system combines the power of digital technology with narrow band FM modulation technique. Merging the two technologies facilitates a radio communications system that maintains a narrow band base signal to ensure for maximum usable range within a given dB power budget, comparable to traditional fixed frequency narrow band FM radios, but with the added benefit of wide band digital security and privacy provided by the frequency hopping spread spectrum algorithm.

Communication
Ok product. Well constructed, durable, unique features. One walkie talkie sounds good the other sounds like a dying cow with static interference.

Generally well made, and fits needs better than GMRS/FRS
I needed a pair of walkie talkies for use around the house/yard, and when we each go our way in malls and amusement parks.

Excellent Privacy, Good Customer Service
We recently bought 4 of these TSX-300 units for use on our family ski trip. I was primarily persuaded to buy these by another review about trying to find channels not used by other skiers -- as in, maybe you don't want your kids being "educated" on the perspectives of some other 16 year-old kid.

Exactly as advertised with great custome service
My wife and I ordered these to use during hiking expeditions, and we were deciding on these or the Motorola's. We read the reviews for both, and went to the TriSquare and Motorola websites.

Good buy
Radio is nice. Rechargable batteries don't last very long - but that is common. Fairly easy to use, menu makes sense, easy to program.
